There was no stopping Drew Brees on this night as the Saints marched all over the Dolphins winning 38-17 to remain unbeaten.
Brees was sensational in this one throwing for 413 yards and 4 touchdowns while completing of 30 of 39 pass attempts for a near perfect 144.5 rating.
The Saints quarterback had his 10th straight game of having 25 plus completions and his 9th straight game of throwing for 300 yards or more. Both tied his own NFL record. Ryan Tannehill’s 3 interceptions basically killed any chance of the Dolphins winning this game.
After Miami had cut the Saints lead to 4 late in the first half, the Dolphins were putting together a nice drive when Tannehill was intercepted by Jabari Greer who returned it to the 23-yard line.
Four plays later, Brees hit Darren Sproles who finished with 142 yards of total offense and killed the Dolphins all game for a 13-yard touchdown pass. Miami never recovered as New Orleans put up 21-unanswered points to take a 35-10 lead.
Jimmy Graham was very productive once again catching 2 touchdowns passes and finishing with 100 yards receiving on the night.
The Saints put up another field goal, and the Dolphins added a touchdown on a Charles Clay touchdown catch to round out the scoring.
Miami now has to gear up for a Ravens team next Sunday in a game that will really show what this Dolphins team is made of. The Saints will travel to Chicago to face the Bears and attempt to remain unbeaten.
