Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice’s “very minor physical altercation” doesn’t seem to minor anymore.
In footage obtained by TMZ, Rice was seen dragging his unconscious fiancee out of an Atlantic City casino elevator before essentially “dropping her” face first on the floor.
While Rice has no previous off the field issues on record, this does not look good at all and it likely means that the altercation he had with his fiancee was significantly more violent than he originally led on.
His attorney, Michael Diamondstein told TMZ Sports, “The video that’s being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired.”
The end result though in this case was someone being knocked out, so it’s unclear what point Diamondstein was trying to make with his remark.
Both Rice and his fiancee were arrested and charged with domestic violence-simple assault. The National Football League is reviewing the incident.
The end result in this case could be the 27-year-old Rice getting suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
