Revis replaces Aqib Talib who signed on with the Denver Broncos in the Patriots secondary. He had previously been adamant about his refusal to take a pay-cut, but whatever Bill Belichick said to him clearly changed his mind.
In his only year with the Bucs, Revis showed he was 100 percent back from ACL surgery playing in all 16 games. He intercepted 2 passes, had 11 pass deflections, and was named to the Pro Bowl.
If one’s thing for sure following this news, it’s that the Jets Patriots rivalry just got a whole lot more heated.
Revis previously spent the first 6 seasons of his career with the Jets before being traded to the Buccaneers prior to last season.
Is it football season yet?
